The Lafuma Futura Recliner is an update of the popular Lafuma R3000 Recliner. All the elements that made the R3000 an outstanding folding recliner are still in place, including the Advanced Cinematic Reclining System for improved ergonomics over older Lafuma chairs. With fixed armrests, the Futura reclines to an infinite number of positions while remaining completely stable.
Thanks to the cinematic recline system and easy-to-use tension levers beneath the armrests, the Futura zero gravity chair reclines to your desired position by either shifting your weight or pushing against the armrests. The Futura folds up into an easy to manage package, and fits effortlessly into a closet, shed, or the handy Lafuma Carry Bag.
The Futura has a padded headrest, and padded seats are available with select recliner models (check below), making the Futura an exceptionally relaxing zero gravity chair. The fabrics for all Lafuma recliners are removable and washable, and all the chair's parts are replaceable.
Lafuma recliners like the Futura are light, and come with steel reinforced joints for improved durability. The Lafuma Futura has a maximum weight capacity of 290 lbs. The larger, heavier Lafuma Futura XL recliner has all the same features – but a higher weight capacity of 330 lbs, and is ideal for folks over 6' tall.

General Cleaning and Care Instructions:
For all of the Lafuma Chairs and Recliner, simply rinse with soapy water or a mild laundry detergent. Scrub gently. A soft brush can also be used. Rinse thoroughly and sun dry. Repeat these steps as necessary.
Batyline (Mesh) Notes:
Batyline should be cleaned regularly. Due to the fabric?s mesh weave, the drying process is quick.
Padded Fabric Notes:
If the padded fabric gets extremely wet, let it sun dry until all of the water is gone. Due to the padding, water can get trapped in the fabric. Make sure to keep these chairs out of the rain whenever possible.

I bought two and they are exactly what I was looking for. Comfortable, good looking, relaxing. YOu do not sweat and do not really need a towel or anything. I love Batyline.

I'm very pleased with my set of recliners. I ordered one to aid me in my recovery from surgery done on my leg. It has helped me greatly with resting and sleeping. I love the quality and style and can't say enough about the customer service at Lafuma. My husband liked mine so well that we ordered one for him the next day! I will keep Lafuma in mind when I make out my Holiday shopping list.

The first point I'd like to mention is the truly excellent customer service - delivery was very quick, and emails kept me up to date with shipping details - all top notch.
The chair itself is great. I'm a smaller woman and was concerned that it would be too large or long. Not the case. It was very comfortable, and I haven't experienced the subtle clicking that another reviewer noted. This chair is going to take my camping experience to a new comfort level!

Fantastic recliner!

My recliner is about 10 years old, and sometimes has been left out over the winter, (covered with a plastic bag but I don't recommend that). Last spring I looked at and it really was a mess. I was going to take it to the dump. But I called LaFuma and they told me to scrub the mesh, (white) and order new webbing, which I did. Presto---NEW chair, or at least that's what it looks and feels like.

Great Chair

This is a very well-made chair - I am very pleased with it. Bought it for outdoors but enjoying it indoors until the weather warms up. Comfortable for all sizes (kids love it). My only issue is that if it is reclined to a particular position, it starts very slowly sitting itself up and there is a "tick-tick-tick" sound as it does it. Really, the movement is so slow it is hardly noticeable but the sound is a little annoying. Tipping the chair back a bit seems to take care of it, and so far it has not happened to my husband, so maybe it's a weight thing. Highly recommended.

I have this chair in my tv room where it gives the perfect view of our 46" TV. We all just love it. This is my personal chair. I have 2 others from years ago & next year will need to replace the lacing. I have given 5 as gifts to very special people I know will enjoy them as much as we do!

Futura Recliner

I ordered this chair online and received it in two days. WOW! I purchased it for my mother who has cancer in her pelvis and spine. I was hoping the positions would give her comfort. Absolutely no fault of the chair... but comfort was not possible. I did return the chair, as it's intended purpose was sadly unsuccessful. An effortless, timely and full refund has me more than willing to provide a high rating. PS- Wish I could have kept the chair for myself!
