Our Review of the Lafuma Futura Clipper XL recliner
A more generously sized version of the Lafuma Futura Clipper, the Lafuma Futura Clipper XL recliner offers superior design with a little more room. The Clipper XL uses a series of elastic clips to suspend the mattress instead of Lafuma's more traditional elastic lacing system. The clipper system revolutionizes Lafuma's already superior design by improving support across the entire recliner and creating a slick look, all while eliminating the need to replace elastic laces. Best of all, the plastic clips allow easy removal of the mattress for cleaning.
Lafuma combines the Clipper's improvements with their tried and true zero gravity recline system. The cinematic recline system and easy-to-use tension levers beneath the armrests recline the Clipper to your desired position. To recline the Clipper zero gravity chair, shift your weight or push against the armrests.
Customers wanting to explore additional Lafuma styles that accommodate higher weights should consider both the Lafuma RSX XL recliner and Lafuma Futura XL recliner. The RSX XL offers the same features as the best-selling RSX, but with more room. The Futura XL features similar styling to the Futura Clipper XL, but uses a lace suspension system instead of clips.
The Futura Clipper XL holds up to 330 lbs and includes a padded headrest. Like all Lafuma folding chairs, the Clipper XL folds compactly for easy transport and storage.
***As you ponder which color to choose, please note the Forest (not pictured)and Ocean Batyline feature a black metallic armrest. If you prefer a Batyline Clipper with a wooden armrest, the Black Batyline or Seigle Batyline will be the best options for you. The Marine, Outdoor, Black Padded and Bordeaux currently do not have padding on the armrests as pictured.***

General Cleaning and Care Instructions:
For all of the Lafuma Chairs and Recliner, simply rinse with soapy water or a mild laundry detergent. Scrub gently. A soft brush can also be used. Rinse thoroughly and sun dry. Repeat these steps as necessary.
Batyline (Mesh) Notes:
Batyline should be cleaned regularly. Due to the fabric?s mesh weave, the drying process is quick.
Padded Fabric Notes:
If the padded fabric gets extremely wet, let it sun dry until all of the water is gone. Due to the padding, water can get trapped in the fabric. Make sure to keep these chairs out of the rain whenever possible.

I bought this chair in late June, & have thoroughly enjoyed using it this summer. Its an absolute pleasure to recline in lakeside or at the campsite. I am over 6' 2" tall & 225 pounds & It accommodates me just fine. It's an exceptional product at a very fair price. Thanks lafuma for a great product.

The Cadillac

I purchased my first LaFuma recliner chair at least 12 years ago. The frame is still in good shape, and I have replaced the lacing a couple of times. The material on the pad finally gave up. That chair traveled from east to west and north to south. When I decided to get a new chair...I looked him square in the eye and said, why would I order anything but a LaFuma recliner . The chair is incredible, and I would settle for nothing less. My original chair cost $120.00. That breaks down to $10/year, and I consider that a great value, plus the chair is the Cadillac of recliners.

What a wonderful chair. I had some surgery and used it afterwards to be able to stretch out in the sun and relax. It is so comfortable!

This is the MOST comfortable chair I have ever sat in -- I gave the XL to my brother-in-law for his birthday. HE says it's the most comfortable chair he has ever seen, too! I bought another chair for me, and I am really enjoying it. The chair is truly unbelievable, and you MUST try it to find out just how wonderful comfort can be!
