Our Review of the Lafuma Futura Clipper recliner
Lafuma looks forward with the Lafuma Futura Clipper recliner. As the name suggests, the Clipper uses a series of elastic clips to suspend the mattress instead of Lafuma's more traditional elastic lacing system. The clipper system revolutionizes Lafuma's superior design by improving support across the entire recliner and creating a nicely finished look, all while eliminating the periodic need to replace elastic laces. Best of all, the elastic clips allow easy removal of the mattress for cleaning.
Lafuma combines the Clipper's improvements with the tried and true zero gravity recline system. The cinematic recline system and easy-to-use tension levers beneath the armrests recline the Clipper to your desired position. To recline the Clipper zero gravity chair, shift your weight or push against the armrests.
Customers seeking the Clipper's unique clipper system but wanting a sleeker look should consider the Lafuma Evolution Recliner. The Evolution removes the head and foot cross-braces, creating a cleaner line. Both chairs feature Lafuma's unique zero gravity recline system.
The Futura Clipper holds up to 290 lbs, and includes a padded headrest. Like all Lafuma folding chairs, the Clipper folds compactly for easy transport and storage.
***As you ponder which color to choose, please note the Forest and Ocean Batyline feature a black metallic armrest. If you prefer a Batyline Clipper with a wooden armrest, the Black Batyline or Seigle Batyline will be the best options for you. The Marine, Outdoor, Black Padded and Bordeaux currently do not have padding on the armrests as pictured.***

General Cleaning and Care Instructions:
For all of the Lafuma Chairs and Recliner, simply rinse with soapy water or a mild laundry detergent. Scrub gently. A soft brush can also be used. Rinse thoroughly and sun dry. Repeat these steps as necessary.
Batyline (Mesh) Notes:
Batyline should be cleaned regularly. Due to the fabric's mesh weave, the drying process is quick.
Padded Fabric Notes:
If the padded fabric gets extremely wet, let it sun dry until all of the water is gone. Due to the padding, water can get trapped in the fabric. Make sure to keep these chairs out of the rain whenever possible.

Perfect for relaxing

I ordered this chair after much research and I am so glad I did. I am on bedrest at home after a 10 week hospital stay, and this is a great way to spend bedrest (out on the patio reclining under a nice shade). I am also 35+ weeks pregnant, so I find it extremely difficult to sit down and get up from many chairs. The Lafuma Futura Clipper is actually pretty easy to get in and out of, and the fixed armrests make it easy to recline and unrecline, so it's perfect for me! I chose the clipper because I didn't want to deal with having to replace any cords over time. It costs a little more than some of the other models, but it was well worth every penny.
