Our Review of the Lafuma Hybrid recliner
The Lafuma Hybrid Recliner is the very first steel and aluminum zero gravity chair offered by Lafuma Furniture. Uniquely configured and stylish, the Hybrid fuses the durability of steel with lightweight aluminum components to introduce one of the cleanest and leanest recliners in the Lafuma stable. With contoured wooden armrests and lace-free removable seat fabric, the Hybrid combines premium comfort and high style in one portable recliner package.
Like other Lafuma zero gravity recliners, the Hybrid uses an advanced cinematic recline system and tension adjustment clips that easily adjust the seat's recline to an infinite number of positions. The Hybrid's seat reclines by either shifting your body weight, or by pushing against the wooden armrests. The joints and upper portion of the Hybrid are made of powdered steel, adding strength and a little extra weight.
Unlike the Futura or RSX recliner, the Hybrid does not have a footrest. Another difference is that the seat fabric of the Hybrid stays in place with injected elastomer bands that slide in and out of slots in the frame. This unique feature not only eliminates the need to lace and unlace the seat fabric for washing, but the need to replace the support laces after they wear.
The Hybrid can support a person up to 290 lbs, comes with a padded headrest, and folds compactly for storage or transportation. Lafuma also offers a specially designed Lafuma Carry Bag for moving and protecting your Hybrid.

General Cleaning and Care Instructions:
For all of the Lafuma Chairs and Recliner, simply rinse with soapy water or a mild laundry detergent. Scrub gently. A soft brush can also be used. Rinse thoroughly and sun dry. Repeat these steps as necessary.
Batyline (Mesh) Notes:
Batyline should be cleaned regularly. Due to the fabric's mesh weave, the drying process is quick.
Padded Fabric Notes:
If the padded fabric gets extremely wet, let it sun dry until all of the water is gone. Due to the padding, water can get trapped in the fabric. Make sure to keep these chairs out of the rain whenever possible.

I have a chair that is about 6 years old and love it. My only complaint is the bar at the bottom hits the back of my ankles requiring me to use the pillow for my feet not my head.
I thought the new chair would solve this for me but it did not. The new chair went right back into the box. It is much too stiff, and the arms were not padded as my old chair is. I was looking for my old chair only without the bottom bar.

The Hybrid recliner looks great and is very comfortable, BUT without the foot bar, it's too difficult to change positions.

Okay, I admit I was really put off by the price but this chair is awesome. We had a tiny little recliner that came with our RV and by husband needed a shoehorn to sit in it. We couldn't find anything that would fit in the same place, everything was simply too large.
Then we found this. It fits perfectly in the small place, its as comforable as our big leather recliner in our house. Its easy to clean and you can take it outside when camping. What more could you ask. And they ship it free. Really. Everywhere else on the internet it is the same price as on this website plus extra shipping. Enjoy? Totally.
