I'm a cancer patient who is unable to sleep in a bed. When I travel (spend the night at a family members for a night or two, or spend a few months somewhere warm for the winter), I take my chair with me. The zero gravity feature is just what I need to sleep comfortable and pain free. This chair is a life saver! I'm on my second one in the last 8 years(I had the first chair for almost 7 years). The only feature that could be improved is the padding should go all the way to the bar at the end where your feet go. I'm only 5'5" and my feet hit the bar. I've come up with a solution that works for me - I have a bungee cord wrapped around the open space at the bottom and since I use my chair a lot, I've added a pad (a regular pad used on patio furniture). I've recommended the LaFuma to countless people who agree that it is comfortable enough to sleep in! Thank you!

We bought two of these beauties after trying one that a friend purchased to help her after her back surgery. We have been nothing but utterly satisfied. Some of our daughter's friends prefer them to the hammock. I personally very much appreciate the web seat -- it allows air flow and makes the whole thing next to perfect.

My brother & sister in law bought me, as a gift, two LaFuma recliners for my deck this past summer. These are THE BEST recliners we have ever owned! They are so comfortable and well made, you have no presssure on your body and are great to catch a quick nap! I have owned many recliners over the years, but after only one season even thou they were covered, they became dirty and full of milldew. They were just too heavy to keep out of the elements. The La Fuma are lightweight and easy to manage and so well built. He bought them as a gift, but would not spend the money to buy for himself. Last week I ordered two recliners for them. After researching the sites for these chairs, I decided on this site as I read all the reviews and customer service and quick shipping means a lot to me. This site seemed to fit the bill. I ordered them on a Wednesday, they recieved them on Friday! Now that was fast!I was so impressed, I just orderd one for my girlfriend.It was a pleasure doing business with LaFumaFurniture.com.

This Lafuma RSX recliner was awesome as expected and I love it, but the back of it curves inward at the top, which is very uncomfortable when you're sitting upright because it pushes your head forward. As a result the pillow is totally useless and HAS to be removed or pushed down and used as a lumbar support. When reclined, it's not so annoying and as I'm usually reclined I didn't return it. But I'd be much much happier with something that is comfortable in any position.

The chair is great, quality and comfort. The zero gravity description was deceiving though, I was expecting it to recline enough to take all weight off the spine. Instead it raises your feet to release the weight of the lower part of the body from the spine, but does not relieve the spine of the pressure created by the torso. I don't believe this is considered true zero gravity.

I got the Lafuma RSX recliner because of low back discomfort. In the full recline it is excellent! Other positions very good with some bolsters to individualize for my back's quirks. Somewhat "hammocky" for the butt area, but hey, it's a collapsible chair (which is very well made and does not feel like it might collapse if you sit a little hard/wrong.) The padded version retains body heat. I think it would be sweaty-hot outside in full sun - just a guess though. It's good to keep a "chill" off too, though.) Full back relief when reclined, little muscle contraction to get out and up. Just what the doctor ordered. Will be much better than trying to get in and out of a bed after surgery this Fall. I'm changing this from 4 to 5 stars - for the quality of the build at such an affordable price, for the total back relief when reclined, for the overall comfort - it is a totally satisfactory purchase.(Shipping speed and all that was perfect, too.)

We really enjoy sitting in our backyard in our Lafuma RSX recliner. It's a well-made, comfortable recliner that's difficult to stay awake in when the chair is fully reclined!
